Material Handler

Working location: Appleton, WI

General Description: We are searching for a highly organized and proactive Material Handler person to join our team who will work proficiently with others and also by themselves.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Create work orders for parts that are needed for inventory, jobs in house and at our other locations and have prompt follow up
• Purchase sleeves along with constant communication and follow up with other plants on sleeve completion
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder as needed to stay ahead of upcoming jobs
• Communicate with vendors in obtaining quotes
• Receive in materials from vendors
• Coordinate with other departments in what’s needed for jobs
• Quality inspection of materials and product
• Ability to multitask and prioritize jobs

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: On the job training will be provided.Other combinations of experience and education that meet requirements may be substituted. 
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
