General Description

 

We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of our facility operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of our buildings, production equipment, and utilities. Will lead a team of maintenance personnel, manage budgets, and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize production.

JOB RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS

 

  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities for the facility and production equipment. Monitor the operation of building systems like heating, ventilation, air conditioning and boilers.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for maintenance and safety.
  • Manage the department budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Identify and source spare parts to maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and unplanned downtime.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Interface with plant management, supervisors, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with the supervision of the activities on the shop floor to assist with smooth operation.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
  • Lead and motivate a team of maintenance personnel. Serve as the example of professionalism.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance programs (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and inventory.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Required:
    • Preventative maintenance experience
    • High School Diploma and 10 years of plant maintenance experience with increasing leadership responsibilities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams)
    • Ability to use automated building and equipment controls.
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Architecture

 

  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in facilities maintenance management
