BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Perform essential job responsibilities to facilitate the flow of inbound and outbound shipments into / from the Feed & Biofuel Muncy facility. Perform all duties required to receive, store, pull, issue, transport, and ship purchased or manufactured products. Fully utilize the company’s SAP computer system to complete all associated transactions in an accurate and efficient manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Estimate and/or obtain freight cost(s) for shipments and choose best cost for mode of transport.
- Coordinate shipments through transportation vendors for products distributed by Andritz Inc.
- Understand HTSUS and country or origin; possess ability to determine correct classification.
- Create export documents for international shipments, review import documentation, and make transportation arrangements.
- Ensure all applicable export control procedures and laws are followed in accordance with Group Legal.
- Pull materials for manufacturing processes and shipments.
- Create work order inventory transactions, as well as receive work orders into inventory using the SAP system.
- Support and participate in inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Create domestic and Canadian bill of ladings and commercial invoices, if applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.
TECHNICAL SKILLS (knowledge)
- Knowledge of HTS Codes, Letters of Credit, and Incoterms.
- Familiarity with Important Security Filings and Shipper’s Letters of Intent documents.
