The role will focus on strategically driven business growth in this mostly non-OEM market segment and will require continued reverse engineering, product and process expertise, service sourcing/development, and parts sourcing.

The role includes technical and selling leadership including an ongoing analysis of the Andritz market position in each of these areas. The role requires the aggressive employment of innovation and optimization in all facets of the business.
- Develop and execute key account plans on an annual basis.
- Develop strategic plans and actions as a part of the regional and global Product Team.
- Oversee product selection based on application.
- Drive R&D ideas and implementation of new products as a part of the regional and global Product Team together with the R&D engineering team.
- Maintain and update process and maintenance data.
- Participate in service work and system optimization as required.
- Develop marketing/promotion plan including identification of where we can sell, the strategy for selling as well as developing marketing materials, coordinating same with sales force and regional and global Product Management.
- Frequently evaluate marketing/promotion plan and structure - Manage development of marketing database.
- Evaluate established long and short-term sales objectives.
- Maintain established and new customer relations.
- Identify training needs of each Salesman annually.
- Develop your own personal skill sets in the Product Line (in all aspects, i.e. assembly, engineering, purchasing, quotation making, selling etc …) to improve efficiency and quality of work and delivery.

Active Membership in the Regional and Global Product Team, to provide ideas and customer feedback for developing successful product strategy and product developments
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or commensurate Industry experience
- Pulp and Paper Industry process experience strongly desired
- Experience in procurement of subcontracted services a plus
- Experience in management of commercial contracts;
- Experience in negotiations and claim management;
- Ability to organize, coordinate, lead;
- Strong analytics skills to evaluate complex data sets and resolve issues;
- Ability to clearly communicate, deliver presentations, simplify, explain variances and issues to a team and propose solutions;
- Has experience working in Excel and MS Office;

Willingness to travel as necessary, can be as much as 50-60%
