General Description

• Job – Generator Commissioning Engineer
• Commissioning of Generator/Motor PSP plant
• Commissioning of hydro Generator Auxiliaries
• Commiioning Excitation system
• Sound knowledge of Protection system
• Coordination with Installation & Commissioning team
• Coordination with Engineering team
• Coordination with Vendors.
• Coordination with Sub contractor

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Write the purpose for which the job exists

• Over all commissioning of Generator and its Auxilairies
• Preparing Risk assesment for Each Commissioning activities
• Commissioning of Excitation system
• Commissioning of Generator protection equipment
• Implementation of proper handing over process and LOTO,PTW at sites
• Sound knowledge of over all hydro plant commissioning.
• Hands on experience in doing commissioning of Generator Auxiliaries,Excitation, CW system, Dry and wet commissioning tests.
• Preparing protocols and closing punch points

YOU’RE GOOD AT: Write the details of the core area of expertise required to possess by the candidate. 

• Sound knowledge of Generator commissioning.
• Over all plant Knowledge
• Electrical knowledge of Protection system
• Following HSE

YOU BRING: Experience & Qualifications (Provide information about knowledge required to delve into this role)

• 5-8 years expereince in Hydro commissioing
• Hydro plants all type & PSP commissioning.
• Enginerring degree or equivalent
• Previous trainings done for Plant commissioning.
• Experience of doing abroad project
• Project management skills
• Sound knowledge of Hydro power plant Commissioning.
• Sound knowledge of Generator excitation Commissioning.
• Sound knowledge of  BOP equipment Commissioning.
• Sound knowledge of LOTO,PTW and HSE requirements.
• Good leadership skills

PREFERRED: Information about the knowledge required for the job which is not mandatory to possess.

• O&M experience also added advantage.
• Multiskill for commissioning.

YOU’LL WORK WITH: Provide details pertaining to the reporting structure (Direct/Indirect).

• Directly reports to VP Commissioning Functional head
• Indicrect reports to PM/PD while posted on project
• At Site reports to Commissioning corodinator
