Experience :        10-12 Years working experience in the field of Indirect Taxation preferably in the    

                             Project-Oriented Heavy Engineering Industry at Middle Management level.

 

                             Exposure of ERP (SAP).

         Salary :       30-35 Lacs(CTC).

       Location :    Mandideep ( Bhopal)


Key Responsibilities:

Handling team of  3  Person

 

1. GST Compliances

  • Oversee end-to-end GST compliance across multiple registrations, ensuring accuracy of returns and adherence to timelines.
  • Monitor operational execution of filings of GST Returns  (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6 etc ) with periodic review controls to eliminate errors and exposure.

2. Job Work & Operational Controls

  • Supervise Job Work processes under Section 143 of CGST Act, including challan tracking, ITC-04 filings, and reconciliation controls.
  • Validate documentation and physical flow alignment to ensure accuracy and readiness for audits/investigations.
  • MIS for periodical review about  ageing of open challans , and compliance status.

3. ITC Optimization & Vendor Compliance

  • Ensure ITC eligibility through robust validation of inputs, services, and capital goods with proper documentation  nexus.
  • Monitor compliance with Section 16(2) of CGST Act and Rule 37 of CGST Rules, focusing on vendor payments and reversal risks.
  • Review vendor compliance status and take corrective actions to safeguard ITC.

4. Risk Management & Technical Accuracy

  • Identify and mitigate high-risk areas such as valuation, classification, place of supply, cross-charge, and stock transfers, Adjustment of GST on advance, GST TDS reconciliation
  • Perform periodic reviews of complex transactions (multi-location, project sites, direct-to-site supplies).
  • Ensure alignment of GST positions with books, contracts, and legal provisions to reduce litigation risk.

 

5. Litigation, Notices & Audit Handling

  • Lead responses to departmental notices including ASMT-10, queries, and audit proceedings with strong technical submissions.
  • Coordinate internal data validation and representation before authorities to ensure timely and effective closures.

6. Export & Refund Compliance

  • Oversee zero-rated supply compliance including documentation, LUT/Bond adherence, and timely filings and timely time extension applications.
  • Monitor Service Export BRC status with structured MIS and Follow up mechanisms.

7. ISD & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Supervise ISD operations including centralized invoicing, ITC distribution, and accurate GSTR-6 filings.
  • Coordinate with finance, procurement, and business teams to ensure seamless compliance execution.
  • Drive process improvements and automation in GST-related workflows and reporting.

 DGFT & Customs related Awareness and Exposure will be added advantage.
