Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer will play a key role in supporting the company's growth by combining technical understanding with commercial insight, initially focused on less complex project, the role requires a proactive, fast learner who can work independently and contribute to customer satisfaction and sales performance. This position involves managing the full sales life-cycle—from identifying customer needs to providing tailored technical solutions, executing orders, and ensuring timely delivery and after-sales follow-up—while actively collaborating with local and international teams across a multinational organisation to align with broader business objectives.


Responsibilities:

•    Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers by applying in-depth product knowledge and a solution-oriented approach to identify and address customer needs.
•    Manage the full project life-cycle, including lead generation, project development, order fulfilment, and post-sales support
•    Prepare, present, and revise commercial offers tailored to customer requirements.
•    Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and conditions in line with company policies and customer expectations.
•    Oversee the delivery process, including coordination of documentation and permits for customs clearance.
•    Monitor payment milestones and follow up to ensure timely collection.
•    Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., logistics, technical, finance) to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with overall company goals.
•    Keep accurate and current records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
•    Willingness to travel for domestic and international assignments, including site visits and general condition assessments of hydropower plants
•    Generate and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management, highlighting key developments, risks, and opportunities.
•    Identify and analyse customer needs, technical requirements, and underlying business challenges to offer relevant solutions.
•    Provide accurate and timely technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process.
•    Support the sales team with detailed product knowledge, technical documentation, and tailored presentations.
•    Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by effectively addressing technical concerns and delivering appropriate support.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, logistics, and customer service—to ensure seamless execution of sales activities.
•    Assist in the implementation of products and provide ongoing technical support to customers post-sale.
•    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and industry standards.
•    Ensure all activities are carried out in full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and applicable legal requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)

Pre-requisite: 
Filipino Citizen

Experience:
•    10+ years’ experience in sales/project within the power generation sector with a solid background in sales, project management, and technical support.

Skills & Competencies:
•    Strong legal and commercial acumen, including experience in contract negotiation and compliance with industry regulations.
•    Proven ability to interpret and work with technical drawings (electrical, mechanical, and network schematics) to support solution development and project execution.
•    Skilled in project planning and scheduling using tools such as Microsoft Schedule and/or Primavera.
•    Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
•    Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a collaborative team player who also works effectively with minimal supervision.
•    Proactive and self-motivated, with a hands-on approach to driving tasks to completion and continuously seeking improvement.
