BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This position holder is responsible to control and oversee all business operations, people, and ventures within the legal entity. The position holder is furthermore responsible for the overall success of the business and expected to lead and manage the company in terms of safety, planning, development, profitability, and control of operations at the local level, ensuring compliance within policies. People leadership and development are equally important as executing the company’s business strategies and providing strategic advice to the board and chairperson. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To lead the Company's overall strategy in accordance with ANDRITZ HYDROPOWER strategy, in order to ensure the sustainability and growth of the business in the medium and long term, aligning management criteria to optimize the resources needed for contracts
  • To provide strategic advice to the board and Chairperson so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company’s future
  • To lead the process of designing, updating and supervising the organizational structure, considering the operational needs and optimizing the use of resources, in order to ensure the availability and quality of human resources necessary to achieve the general objectives of the business requirements and client contracts (KPI)
  • To communicate and maintain trust relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities
  • To oversee the company’s financial performance, investments and other business ventures
  • To be a reference in the propagation and implementation of ANDRITZ’s values, #1ANDRITZway core and ALeaders Behaviors acting in a coherent manner with them
  • To lead and direct the local setup, ensuring that ANDRITZ’s global policies and practices are properly implemented at the local level
  • To promote, develop and control compliance within the organization of operational procedures in the Cross Function areas, evaluating the execution of these areas, and supervise the correct operational management
  • To develop a business plan, taking into account operational needs, strategic objectives, key indicators for Clients (external - internal) and the company's general budget    
  • To administer budgets and approve costs of services and investment for the entire office management of the company and to administer the local office
  • To provide tools and monitor compliance with safety regulations and practices, incorporating innovations on an ongoing basis into safety programs that promote safe behavior and occupational health

SCHOOL EDUCATION

Minimum: Bachelor/Master’s degree in Commercial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or similar

Desirable: MBI or Master in Business Management, Finance, Marketing or related area

EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
Several years of experience in company management positions

Industrial Sector: Experience in engineering and multinational companies

LANGUAGE:

Minimum: English - Excellent level (written and spoken)

Advantage: Additional Languages

OTHER REQUISITES:
Availability for travels
