For our globally active HYDROPOWER division, we are looking for a CFD CALCULATION ENGINEER for hydraulic development (m/f/d) on a full-time basis in the Research & Development department in Graz / Linz.
 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed technical education (TU/FH, or similar)
  • Professional experience in the field of turbomachinery or hydropower
  • Experience with Fluid Dynamics Simulation (CFD)
  • Knowledge of structural mechanical calculations (FEA) is an advantage
  • Good programming skills are an advantage
  • Goal-oriented, structured and independent way of working
  • High ability to work in an international team and strong communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, other languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel (10%) – worldwide

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Independent design of hydraulic components of hydropower plants by means of numerical simulation (CFD)
  • Conducting CFD studies
  • Active further development of calculation methods and tools
  • The preparation of reports as well as the documentation of calculations and validation with measurement results

 

OUR OFFER
We are legally obliged to state the collective bargaining minimum salary for this position, which is gross € 4.112,78 per month. However, we offer a market-based salary depending on qualifications and professional experience in any case.
