Job title:  Supply Chain Management Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with daily operational needs such as purchasing, order processing, return processing, data entry, inventory requirements and various other reporting.
• Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
• Follow up and expedite suppliers on deliveries.
• Respond to or facilitate suppliers’ questions.
• Work closely with accounts payables to reconcile invoices and provide supporting documentation.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
• Ensure suppliers have the appropriate documentation to proceed with work.
• Assist suppliers with validation of packing lists and their creation in LMS.
• To assist in handling transportation arrangements when necessary to ensure on-time deliveries
• Handle material returns to vendors as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or relevant qualification in any field
• Minimum of 1 year of working experience in the related field is an added advantage, however FRESH GRADUATES are encouraged to apply
• Computer literate with knowledge of MS office application
• Confident, self-motivated with initiative, positive working attitude, able to work independently and with accuracy
• Good communication, good analytical and interpersonal skills
• Willing to learn and able to take work pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision
