Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to gather updates and revise schedules.
- Monitor project progress and highlight deviations from the baseline.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports to stakeholders.
- Assist in resource planning and allocation for efficient site operations.
- Identify scheduling conflicts and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support the team with look-ahead schedules and short-term planning.
- Maintain accurate records of schedule changes and justifications.
- Ensure alignment with project milestones and contractual obligations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project scheduling, ideally within construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of project management and site operations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with large-scale or multi-site projects.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and critical path analysis.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in site operations.
