To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Service Application Engineer (m/f/x) with a focus on repairs and modernizations as soon as possible.

 

Your responsibilities – diverse and impactful:

  • Preparing quotations for spare parts, roll repairs, replacement rolls, and modernizations
  • Providing technical sales support for repair and modernization projects
  • Reviewing and processing technical customer inquiries
  • Offering expert advice to our customers on roll repairs and modifications
  • Participating in contract negotiations and drafting technical specifications
  • Pre- and post-calculation of service orders
  • Reviewing contracts and preparing order confirmations
  • Handling complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Providing technical support to our regional service companies worldwide

 

You bring the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • Completed technical training with further qualification as a technician
  • Professional experience in international mechanical engineering, ideally in service or maintenance
  • Knowledge in the field of paper machines and/or nonwoven calenders is an advantage
  • Familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical control systems
  • Sense of responsibility, strong organizational skills, and initiative
  • Customer- and solution-oriented mindset with a confident demeanor
  • Negotiation skills and solid commercial and contractual understanding
  • Proficient in SAP and common MS Office applications
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; additional foreign languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
