The position covers a broad range of responsibilities from commercial account management to technical data analysis and problem solving.
The successful candidate will be someone that’s equally comfortable discussing and advising on issues in senior meetings, budgeting and forecasting internally, as they are putting on overalls and conducting machine surveys.
Travel and visiting defined customer is an important part of the job.
Communication is key in any industry, but exceptionally important for this role. You will act as the face of Andritz for our customers, so you must be an excellent communicator, able to relay information between departments to ensure that we conduct business as smoothly and effectively as possible.
Location in Kerava plant or at home office
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for all roll related sales (roll covers, services and new rolls) for defined customers in Finland
- Responsible for quotations, sales volume, customer liaison and support for Rolls customers
- Introduction and presentation of products
- Continuous customer service and support
- Permanent contacts with customers to prepare and support upcoming optimization and troubleshooting activities
- Active acquisition of new customers
- Complaint management and problem solving
- Support the start-up of PFR products
- Close collaboration with other Andritz units
- Reporting:

- market trends
Education:
- Industrial engineering qualifications and experience, ideally in the paper industry, but equivalents will be considered
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (paper production/engineering, chemistry, engineering)
- Or equivalent technical education (Technician / Business Administration)
- Or experienced papermaker
Experience:
- Min 5 years of operative, service and/or sales experience
- Proven track record in B2B sales of products in need of explanation or in comparable challenging tasks
Languages:
- Finnish & English (fluent in written and spoken)
Personality:
Outgoing, confident, and sociable. Self-motivated and eager to problem solve and develop relationships

- Willingness to travel (>50 %)
