The position covers a broad range of responsibilities from commercial account management to technical data analysis and problem solving.


The successful candidate will be someone that’s equally comfortable discussing and advising on issues in senior meetings, budgeting and forecasting internally, as they are putting on overalls and conducting machine surveys. 


We cover the entire UK (and some areas overseas), so travel is an important part of the job. Expect to drive upwards of 300-400 miles per week and stay in hotels 1-2 nights per week. 


Communication is key in any industry, but exceptionally important for this role. You will act as the face of Andritz for our customers, so you must be an excellent communicator, able to relay information between departments to ensure that we conduct business as smoothly and effectively as possible.

 

Day to day responsibilities will include:

- Customer visits:

  • Machine Surveys
  • Meetings
  • Troubleshooting and analysis

 

- Working from home:

  • Writing technical reports for customers 
  • Data analysis
  • Monitoring, reporting, and managing sales activities and manufacturing pipeline
  • Liaising internally and externally, over the phone and by email to ensure sound business to business communication 
  • Arrange and host meetings over MS Teams to ensure the right expertise are utilised in the right moments to develop business

 

Qualifications 
- Industrial engineering qualifications and experience. Ideally in the paper industry, but equivalents will be considered. Industry specific training can be provided but must be technically and practically minded.
- Maths, Science and English skills to a high, observable standard

- Proficient with MS Office programs

 

Personality 
- Outgoing, confident, and sociable.

- Self-motivated and eager to problem solve and develop relationships.
