Brief Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for successfully executing all sales goals, implementing strategic initiatives for business growth, cultivating new and existing client relationships, and all other direct sales activities for assigned region. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly manage and lead the sales efforts with clients, independent sales representatives, and the internal sales team.
  • Identify potential customers, establish contact, and develop leads through networking, research, and industry events.
  • Directly interface with clients on the project requirements, technical aspects, features and benefits, commercial terms, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop and maintain healthy and accurate sales pipeline for assigned region in alignment with bookings and revenue goals using the Company’s CRM system.
  • Gain technical knowledge of the Dustex products and air pollution control (APC) technologies with internal training, continuing education, and proactive research.
  • Work with the sales team to manage the proposal development, budgeting, and schedule requirements on sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, offering technical support and solutions.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to customers, highlighting the value of air pollution control solutions and the Company and its products and services.
  • Develop and execute individual sales plan.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and application engineering, to develop customized solutions.
  • Provide industry feedback and reports on market trends in target industries.
  • Stay informed about air quality regulations and industry standards.
  • Participate in the Company marketing strategy by contributing content and ideas.
  • Actively participate in conferences, team meetings, trade shows, Company training events and supporting activities as required to meet business objectives.
  • Complete various reports, sales plans, and sales forecasts.
  • Resolve all customer conflicts in a timely, professional, and ethical manner.

Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Proven sales experience in the industry.
  • Experience with commercial terms and contract negotiations.
  • Familiarity with air pollution control technologies, industrial processes, and related equipment.
  • Experience with budgeting, estimating, schedules, and proposal development.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
