Job Overview:
As a Sales Engineer, you'll manage and support sales processes, including handling proposals, supporting tender processes, and conducting sales activities. You will independently manage sales and execution for simpler projects, including spare parts and standard services. Additionally, you'll be responsible for preparing customer offers, coordinating with engineers on technical and cost requirements, and managing project documentation and contracts. Your role also involves order processing, project management, and maintaining strong customer relationships through effective communication and negotiation.


Summary of Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Management, support tender processes.
  • Independent sales and execution management for less complex projects (spare parts and standard services).
  • Handle customer inquiries and prepare offers.
  • Conduct sales activities and market analysis reporting.
  • Coordinate with system engineers on technical requirements.
  • Work with procurement and system engineers on cost inquiries.
  • Perform project sales calculations.
  • Review contracts and project documents including technical drawings, focusing on technical and commercial aspects during tendering and sales processes.
  • Oversee order processing and project management.
  • Manage cost controlling and billing coordination.
  • Negotiation and maintain strong relationships to customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Management from a reputable university, with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Willing to travel within Indonesia and overseas.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of ISO & OHSAS will be considered an advantage.
  • Understanding of product and market pricing.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Electric Power Plants is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and write well.
  • Highly organized, with excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
