JOB SUMMARY:
As an Automation Sales Engineer, your primary purpose is to drive sales growth and market penetration by managing the entire order process, from initial client engagement to final product delivery and installation. You will leverage your technical expertise and market insights to conduct thorough market analysis, identify potential clients, and build strong, lasting relationships. By collaborating closely with clients and technical teams, you will ensure the delivery of tailored automation solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations. Your role will also involve preparing detailed presentations, addressing client constraints, and reviewing tender documents to secure successful project bids. Ultimately, you will contribute to the company’s success by providing exceptional service, fostering client satisfaction, and achieving sales targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Order Processing and Project Sales Calculation:
- Manage the entire order process, from receiving orders to ensuring accurate project sales calculations.
- Coordinate the delivery or installation of products, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
2. Sales Activities and Market Analysis:
- Conduct various sales activities to promote products and services.
- Perform market analysis and prepare detailed reports to identify trends and opportunity
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Identify potential clients within the industry and plan regular visits to engage with them.
4. Client Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, detailing product specifications and services offered
5. Client and Technical Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with clients and the technical team to determine the most suitable products or systems to meet client needs.
- Address any special requirements or constraints clients may have, with the support of the technical team
6. Cost Inquiries and Procurement:
- Work closely with procurement and system engineers to handle cost inquiries and ensure competitive pricing.
7. Tender Document Review:
- Review tender documents, focusing on both technical and commercial aspects during the tendering and sales processes.
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS & ATTRIBUTES:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering management from a reputable university
Pre-requisite:
Indonesian citizen
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Able to work independently.
- Knowledge of ISO & OHSAS will be considered an advantage.
- Understanding of product and market pricing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues from different departments to achieve common goals
- Persuasion and negotiation skills
- Experience in Electric Power Plants and Automation is a plus.
- Highly organized, with excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Having a good network to stay up to date with industry trends and common problems and solutions
- Willing to travel within Indonesia and overseas.
