POWER2X – Junior Piping Designer (M/F/D)

ANDRITZ is seeking a dynamic Junior Piping Designer to support our entry into the Power-to-X market. In this role, you will take care of essential engineering tasks for our green hydrogen and renewable fuel solutions.
We are looking for young engineers to work with professionals with wealthy experience in product and plant piping design and engineering. You will get a deep understanding of designing solutions for petrochemical plants and you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects. This exciting opportunity is based in several locations of West and East of Slovakia.

In your role, you will
- Create 3D pipe routing outline drafts and detail drawings at product and plant level
- Design and select the required supports
- Align with static and dynamic pipe stress engineers.
- Review and release of designs under consideration of contractual and internal requirements
- Close collaboration with colleagues in other departments and locations
- Coordinate the deliverables with other relevant disciplines (layout, automation, civil, etc.)
In your personal skill set, you have
- Degree level qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline.
- The position is suitable also for candidates with less experience.
- Experience in piping engineering with a background within the petrochemical industry or energy is a plus.
- Knowledge about 3D CAD programs, experience with Aveva E3D, Autocad Plant3D, or Hexagon Smart3D is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel for up to 2 days per month on average
