As part of our succession planning process, we are seeking a skilled and motivated individual for the position of Global Process Technology Manager Cleaners. The successful candidate will oversee upgrades and rebuilds of cleaner plants within the paper machine approach systems and stock preparation lines, while also providing technical and process support to our global sales regions.

 

Responsibilities of the Position:

 

  • Assist our global sales and product management organization in generating and developing new service projects by applying your expertise in cleaner process optimization.
  • Responsibility for the annual revision of project quotation templates and the update of project pricing.
  • Collaborate with sales teams from various service locations to participate in and conduct technical and commercial contract negotiations for larger projects. Provide support for regional sales teams with technical solutions and presentations.
  • Create innovative technical solutions with local and global product management.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with these solutions and services.
  • Support system commissioning and startups at customer sites.
  • Conduct process audits, build mass and flow balances, and size systems at customer locations.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering
  • A minimum of ten years of professional experience as a process expert within paper mill operations is required.
  • Ideally, candidates should possess experience in mechanical and process engineering, as well as project management.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of paper mill equipment, particularly in centrifugal cleaners, screens, deaerators, and pumps.
  • Exhibit high customer and result orientation along with analytical thinking abilities.
  • Show capability to work effectively within a team, possess excellent communication skills, and maintain an independent, systematic approach to work.
  • Proficiently handle common IT programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
  • Have experience with SAP and CRM programs.
  • Experience in using ACAD tools (AutoCAD or Inventor and Vault), Extendsim, and FlowMac is advantageous.
  • Possess very good written and spoken English skills; additional languages are considered an asset.
  • Be willing to travel worldwide.
