JOB PROFILE
MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Working location: Griffin, GA, USA General Description
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and assets at the Concord facility.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Safely and efficiently operate overhead cranes and forklifts.

Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.

Understanding and adherence to all appropriate OSHA regulations

Ability and willingness to direct employees and external contractors

Demonstrate understanding of pumps, electrical systems, motors, drives, and boilers

Ability and willingness to order necessary parts for the completion of maintenance needs

Ability to read and understand standard prints and instructions.

Ability to develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules

Willingness to work on off shifts to repair and or supervise the repair of urgent maintenance needs

Ability to perform other maintenance, housekeeping, painting and miscellaneous tasks as needed and/or as directed by supervision.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS •

 

Education: High school Diploma or equivalent. • Experience: 2 years of relevant manufacturing-related mechanical or millwright experience, or 2 years technical training preferred. Qualified candidates will possess solid mechanical aptitude skills, as well as a clear drug screen, and background check. • Must have computer skills (Word/Excel) • Be willing and able to proficiently perform all tasks with or without supervision.
