In this position, we are looking for a TECHNOLOGY MANAGER (m/f/d) on a full-time basis in the Paper & Board department.


Your Tasks

  • Evaluating and developing machine concepts for the Paper & Board industry
  • You will have a central role in the process of developing the best possible solutions to our customers all over the world
  • Your responsibility will be also to act as a central role of knowledge and expertise for certain assigned process areas
  • Leading and supporting R&D efforts and continuously monitor and evaluate market and customer needs to identify new areas of possible development
  • Leading and supporting during sales phase and order execution including presenting concepts and solutions as well as negotiations
  • Support of product and process management to improve and develop new products as well as cost reduction
  • Reporting and preparation of reports for divisional management, controlling and management board
  • Contribution and supporting during commissioning and startup

 

Your Profil

  • Degree in mechanical, industrial or process engineering, preferable paper engineering (university, university of applied science, professional academy)
  • Several years (>3 years) of professional experience within product management and/or relevant industrial/production experience, preferable paper and board industry
  • Good understanding of process workflows 
  • Proven track record of shown initiative and ownership of challenging tasks
  • Proactive, analytical and results driven working style
  • Engagement, flexibility, independent working style
  • Excellent communications skills in English, other language skills are appreciated
  • Willingness to international travelling with extended on-site stays 
  • Readiness for personal and further education and training

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 4.112,78 for this position.
Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary
