To strengthen our Internal Auditing Team, we are looking for a Senior Group Internal Auditor (m/f/d) at one of our ANDRITZ locations worldwide.

 

Your tasks

  • Independent planning, preparation, and execution of complex, group-wide Internal Audits
  • Advanced data analytics based on information from various local accounting systems (ERP)
  • In-depth analysis of financial data with a focus on accounting and reporting standards (local GAAP / IFRS)
  • Evaluation of end-to-end business processes, particularly in areas such as Purchasing, Project Management, and Controlling
  • Identification of risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across business functions
  • Definition and alignment of action plans in collaboration with local and global stakeholders
  • Preparation of high-quality audit reports and structured follow-up on implementation of agreed measures
  • Active contribution to the continuous development of the Global Internal Control System, especially regarding the design and implementation of Key Controls
  • Providing strategic input and internal consulting on risk management, compliance, and operational excellence
  • Acting as a sparring partner for management in identifying best practices and supporting business transformation from an audit perspective

 

Your profile

  • Completed higher education in business administration, finance, accounting or a related field
  • Extensive and sound knowledge in accounting and financial processes
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly MS Excel (advanced functions, Power Query, PivotTables, etc.)
  • Strong experience in SAP, especially in the Finance (FI), Materials Management (MM), and Project System (PS) modules
  • Fluent in Business English, both spoken and written
  • Experience with OLAP or multidimensional databases is a plus
  • High degree of analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented working style
  • Confident and persuasive communicator with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and integrity
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in international and intercultural teams
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30–50%)

In Austria, we are legally obliged to state the minimum salary for this position, which is a gross monthly salary of €4.545,33.
