Job title:  Service Engineer

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Establish all contacts to the customer and to external partners as necessary for order processing

• Arrange for delivery project schemes

• Make sure that all relevant, valid information on safety and functional requirements, scope of order, deadlines, costs etc. are available for project execution in the departments

• Arrange for the necessary activities according to the requirements of the project

• General coordination of all departments (OP, QA, PC, FICO) involved in project execution

• Arrange and follow up for quality and inspection planning

• Continuously control individual contributions as to their conformity with the targets of the project and arrange for necessary actions in case of deviations

• Cooperate with SM/Order Execution for quotations

• Cooperate with Order Execution for order handling on content and timely basis

• Cooperate with OP / supplier for manufacturing

• Cooperate with DPM/SM for delivery on content and timely basis

• Implement and carry out all orders in agreement with the divisional management.

• Control high degree of OTP (>90%) as per the committed dates

• Control costs

• Respond to failures during the warrantee period. Issue warranty requests and have it signed by the divisional manager. Collect warranty related cost.

Other, Non-Project Related

• Improve processes, standards, tools and skill levels within the organization together with other members of the project team.

• Support Sales, Technology and Product and Service manager(s)

Requirements:

•     Mechanical/process background

•     Practical experience in production-manufacturing required.
