Major Duties:
Purpose and Target:
- As an intern in the ANDRITZ HSE Department, assist the team in the daily management of occupational health, safety, and environmental matters, contribute to maintaining a safe working environment, and learn how to ensure company operations comply with local HSE regulations and Group standards.
- A background in environmental health and safety, coupled with honesty, diligence, and a strong sense of confidentiality, are fundamental requirements for joining our team.
Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
- System and Documentation Support: Assist in updating and organizing HSE-related documents, records, data reports, and system files (e.g., ISO 45001 / ISO 14001). Participate in document archiving and standardization work.
- On-site Inspection and Hazard Learning: Participate in on-site safety inspections, learn to identify basic hazards under the guidance of engineers, record observations, and understand the process for tracking corrective actions.
- Activity and Training Assistance: Support the preparation, organization, and logistics for internal safety training, emergency drills, and promotional activities. Assist in on-site coordination and record-keeping.
- Data and Reporting Support: Assist in collecting and organizing HSE-related data, participate in basic data analysis, and support the completion of environmental reporting forms.
- Project and Audit Support: Under the guidance of the manager or engineers, participate in supporting internal HSE audits, learn the process for recording and following up on identified issues, and assist in preparing relevant project materials.
- Communication and Supervision Learning: Learn and observe how to communicate HSE requirements to various departments and on-site personnel, and understand the basic processes for correcting violations and supervising contractors.
- Other Tasks: Complete other auxiliary HSE tasks assigned by the manager or engineers.
Competencies:
- Undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Safety Engineering.
- National Certified Safety Engineer certificate is preferred.
- Mandarin.
- Proficient in English reading and writing. CET-4 or CET-6 certificate is preferred.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software for basic data processing and document editing.
- Basic understanding and interest in HSE work, willing to learn and develop a career in this field.
- Good communication skills, team spirit, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Honest and trustworthy, capable of properly handling various types of information encountered in work, with a strong sense of confidentiality.
