Your dream is to design complete plant solutions for aqua food, animal feed, pet food and biomass pelleting production? During your Traineeship at ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel you will get the chance to look into the job of a technical designer in two departments. Thereby you get a good overview of the possibilities you have after completing the education as technical designer specialized in industrial production. At the end you will be able to create 2D and 3D technical documents for sales quotations as well as contract execution of small and large scale engineering projects.

Technical Design Trainee in Sales Support
The Sales Support team acts as the link between Sales and Engineering. It supports the sales managers with the creation of initial drawings and quotations. The team converts technical data and information from the sales managers into specific offers for customers.
You will get introduced to the following tasks:

• 2D:  Reading flowcharts and plant drawings
• 3D Scanning:
• 3D Modelling: Inventor
• Calculation: Calculating structures for production.
• Sales Quotation: Preparing offers in QUOTS (internal quotation tool)
• Data Quality: Controlling of content of orders to customers, correct pricing etc.

Technical Design Trainee in Contract Execution

After successful sales the sales support team hands over to the contract execution team. During your time with the contract execution team you will actively participate in the execution of projects. Among others you will be introduced to the following:

• Plant Design: Designing of Plants in terms of technical specifications, process and lay out design - from the conceptual design to final handover of the project.
• Autodesk 3D Inventor

You have to be enrolled in a technical design education in order to be able to be a technical design trainee at ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel.
