The position holder is responsible to develop, implement and maintain plant design tools AVEVA E3D. The key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, program, implement, and maintain library, software, and tools and ensuring to meet project requirements and industry standards.
You will be the main knowledge center for the application of AVEVA by providing technical support and training sessions for key users globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Global communication with both internal and external interfaces.
- Technical support for projects.
- Setting up / Configuring projects for use.
- Creating and maintaining division specific tools and libraries.
- Daily work organization in E3D programs, including development tasks.
- Participation in other development projects that integrate with 3D programs.
- Lead key user group to train and develop.
- Organizing necessary end-user training for E3D.
Who are we looking for?
Technical Skills
- 3D Plant design
- Aveva 3D Foundation & Piping training and/or sufficient working experience in Plant engineering
- Use of basic E3D modules and tools
- Understanding the basics of Global project work
- Following common project design rules (ex. naming conventions, hierarchies, document settings, element linking, status mgmt etc.)
- Accepted design methods for pipes and piping supports in E3D
- Ensuring design quality (technically valid design and good design practice)
- Clash detection
- Filling in required E3D attributes (equipment, steel work etc.)
- Linking required elements in the projects (Comos – Aveva)
- Knowledge about the machinery directive & ISO14122
- Creating reports, Import / Export functions
- Using related web-based tools (MTO, Object search)
- High level of English proficiency
- Basics of IT, computer science
- Basics of programming, ability to read and understand code. (PML/PML2 as bonus)

- Favorable: Other language (Danish, German)
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Similar Job
- Industrial sector: Experience from within our industry or other similar industries will be beneficial
Other Requisites
• Availability for travel can be needed from time to time as this is a global role.
