Products made on ANDRITZ Nonwoven solutions are found in many kinds of end-uses applications, such as automotive, carpeting, filtration, roofing, synthetic leather, hygiene, medical, cosmetics, cleaning and many more. Manmade cellulosic (MMCFs) are regenerated fibers usually made from the dissolved wood pulp or “cellulose” of trees. Viscose, lyocell, and modal are all kinds of manmade cellulosic. They are plant-based, renewable, and so have the potential to be a climate-friendly material if the wood is sourced sustainably and the processing chemicals are handled properly.

Needlepunch Process Experts - Position key responsabilities and tasks

The Textile Process Expert develops textile products on Needlepunch lines (either on the client's site or on a pilot line).

Customer Interventions:

  • Execute textile and mechanical commissioning on the client's site to obtain textile protocols (FAC)
  • Support and assist clients with process and textile issues
  • Help clients find the right settings for a line to diagnose the problem and determine the root cause
  • Troubleshoot Nonwoven lines
  • Participate in commercial meetings during tests and client visits when expertise is required

Technical Textile Support:

  • Prepare and conduct internal and client tests on the Pilot Line in support of the laboratory's textile engineers
  • Record test results in documented and professional test reports
  • Qualify client products on the pilot line
  • Operate the Pilot Line as a showcase for clients
  • Support application engineers and process managers in defining appropriate technical solutions and product guarantees for commercial offers
  • Participate in the development of PDM

 

  • Internal:

 

  • TE Manager and Laboratory Manager: Reporting on tests, receiving instructions, project management, presenting tests, exchanging ideas and information
  • Service Team: Planning interventions and contacting supervisors/technicians
  • Project Managers: Transmitting information, reporting
  • Management: Reporting in case of contingencies
  • Sales Team: Establishing a common discourse, creating and validating action plans
  • Laboratory Team: Organizing and conducting tests
  • Automation and Mechanical Engineering Team: Exchanging technical information, proposing improvement
  • External:

    • Clients: Textile intervention/troubleshooting/technical advice
    • Agents: Establishing a common discourse
    • Service Providers and Co-partners: Coordinating interventions

 

Degrees and Required Experience:

  • Engineering or experienced Technician training, preferably in the Textile field
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience is desired for this position, preferably in an industrial context

General Knowledge and Required Skills:

  • Good command of professional and technical English
  • Proficiency in office tools (Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Knowledge of quality and hygiene standards in the Industry sector
  • Ability to work in a team (interpersonal skills)
  • Ability to anticipate and adapt
