ANDRITZ is seeking a Spare Parts Specialist to join their Log Handling Crane division team in Edmonton, AB. This position is responsible for coordinating and/or performing spare part orders from receipt to release, ensuring that customer requests are handled expeditiously and accurately. As a primary interface for our customers, the Spare Parts Specialist must act as a technical resource as required and be customer-focused.

 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Generate quotes, sales orders in SAP as requested via phone calls, MVRs and emails
  • Generate purchase requisitions for 3rd party purchase orders
  • Help review open purchase orders and expedite vendors when necessary
  • Assist with Spare Part SAP accounting functions such as receiving on drop ship orders to prepare order files for customer invoicing
  • Assist with shipping and receiving of spare parts
  • Coordinate drop shipments from vendor to customer  
  • Assist with inventory
  • Operate forklift as required

 

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following:

  • Proven experience working inside sales and/or working in a manufacturing environment handling customer orders.  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Working experience with SAP and CRM an asset.
  • Mechanically oriented with sales and vendor management experience.  
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and parts lists.
  • Proven ability to understand and execute verbal instructions coupled with the ability to handle multiple tasks in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Must be able to identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detect changes in customer needs.
  • Must have an attention to detail when compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.
  • Ability to project a positive, professional image to customers and vendors.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
