What You Will Be Doing

 

Here’s an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise:

  • Primary Technical interface to Andritz Customers, Regional Sales Managers, Sales Account Managers, Proposal Support Team, including travel to Customer meetings and installations.
  • Maintain and develop our image of technical competence and leadership with Andritz Customers.
  • Demonstrate strong technical selling skills based on process and product knowledge.
  • Prepare and present detailed quotations, sales and training documentation.
  • Participate in on-site audits as required and prepare detailed documentation of observations.
  • Participate in on-site process optimization as required and prepare detail documentation of observations.
  • General willingness and drive to continuously learn and improve application, process, and product knowledge.
  • Maintain and update application, process, and product knowledge that can be accessed by other authorized Andritz employees.
  • Active participation in the Regional Sales and Global Product / Market Segmentation Teams to provide ideas and Customer feedback for developing successful product strategy and product developments.

 

What We’re Looking For

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following:

  • Associate degree and/or equivalent of five years' experience
  • Ability to communicate and interface with personnel across various departments.
  • Computer literacy is required:
    • Familiarity with Office 365 products is required,
    • Basic working knowledge AutoCAD is required.
    • Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
  • Willing and able to travel by private & public transportation to Customer locations worldwide.
  • Approximately 20-40% travel titime.
  • Ability to make decisions such as selecting equipment offering based on analysis of similar / historical documentation.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the attention to detail.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks in a harsh environment.  
  • Represent company interests when dealing with Customers and Customer contacts.

 

Other valued, but non-essential skills, abilities, and experience include:

  • Sales experience
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and process flow drawings.

 

Salary range 70,000 to 85,000; based on a 40-hour work week.
