For our site in Corlu,Turkey we are looking for a Plant Manager with main focus on the production area

 

Major Responsibilities

 

  • SAFETY, QUALITY, COST, DELIVERY TIME, CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
  • Responsible for maintaining a work environment and practices that are safe, environmentally sound, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and assures insurance requirements are met.
  • Responsible for the profitable operation of the plant. Ensures that all orders are completed within the required quality, time and cost parameters, and to the satisfaction of customers. 
  • Responsible for all functions within the plant including production, quality, process engineering, maintenance, safety, environmental.
  • Responsible to develop and maintain management information metrics that show the direction of key trends and indices that will assist ANDRITZ Fabrics and Rolls management team to recognizing performance and performance drivers with sufficient lead time to respond appropriately to issues and to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Responsible for the adherence of ANDRITZ Fabrics and Rolls quality systems, process engineering and ISO compliance.
  • Develops manufacturing plans with operating and capital cost budgets.
  • Structures and manages staff to achieve planned results.
  • Responsible for long term strategic manufacturing plans for the production.
  • Cooperation with Sales functions (Sales, Marketing, Application, Technical Service) at site and European R&D organization (Product Management, Product Development), Finance and Admin functions.
  • Responsible for training, development and disciplinary matters of the production employees. Ensures consistency of leadership in compliance with law, rules and regulations.
  • Keeps adequate communication internally as well as with the local authorities and the community where the plant is located.

 

Background and Experience

 

  • University degree (TH and FH) as mechanical engineer or process engineer
  • Experience in the field of production processes and/or engineering (min. 5 years)
  • Experience in working in international / matrix organizations
  • Leadership experience
  • Managerial skills (Customer orientation, Target orientation, Communication, Conflict Management, …)
  • Solid MS Office/SAP software skills and very good knowledge in English language
