ANDRITZ Diatec is since 2018 part of the ANDRITZ Group. Diatec designs and manufactures a wide range of special machines and technological solutions, mainly for the production of baby diapers and other absorbent hygiene products, but also for food packaging. The job holder is responsible to plan, manage and control the following tasks:
Reading of technical drawings of the project provided by technicians and engineers and correct interpretation of instructions to assemble and assemble machine parts.
If necessary, the technician modifies and adapts the parts to be assembled using special bench tools and machine tools (e.g., lathe) to ensure better adherence to the technical specifications provided in the design.
Once the assembly is completed, the technician carries out the test, performs function tests of assemblies, alignments, couplings between structures, and proceeds to a final testing of the machine to check the actual running.
The technician installs the machinery at the plant where it will be used. Starts up the machine and adjusts it according to the specific production requirements, completes the certificate of conformity of the machinery in the ways prescribed by the applicable machinery regulations. If necessary, the technician will train the personnel who will operate it, shows the general characteristics of the machinery, its function and performances, the safety features, and the procedures to be followed in case of failure.
Participates in compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental protection.
