ANDRITZ Metals USA

ANDRITZ Metals USA designs and builds equipment for the processing of carbon steel, stainless steel, and non-ferrous metal including pickling lines, coating lines, levelers, cut to length lines, slitting lines, as well as continuous or batch furnaces for reheating slabs, blooms, billets, and structural shapes. We specialize in supplying parts and services for rolling mills and strip processors and provide a wide range of mechanical and electrical components for ANDRITZ equipment, as well as for many other brands in the industry. 

The Role

Under the direction of  the Working Shop Supervisor , the Laborer is responsible for performing general work as assigned in and about the plant.

Requirements

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Result Items

• Loads and unloads materials as directed.
• Sweeps and cleans up in and about shop, as directed.
• Disposes of debris, garbage
• Performs general cleanup work.
• Unload trucks with a fork truck.
• Breaks down crates and clean new rolls as directed.
• Works in a safe manner.

Education and Experience

•  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
•  1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
