The ANDRITZ Clean Air Technologies (ECA) Division has expertise in the removal of all pollutants from flue gases and experience with turnkey and EPC projects worldwide, high competence in best-cost manufacturing, active cooperation with universities and research institutes, and close contacts with potential customers.
As Vice President/Executive Director of Clean Air Technologies India, you will play a central role in both sales and execution of clean air technology projects in the defined region and ensure the further development of the business in order to achieve the ambitious targets. Furthermore, our ECA office in Chennai, India provides global engineering services for our Clean Air Technology locations worldwide.
Your Tasks
- Define (or further develop) and execute a regional growth strategy for India and the Middle East by identifying and pursuing business opportunities and building strategic partnerships and collaborations to drive the market success of our air quality control solutions.
- Drive the order intake process by identifying and securing new projects
- Develop new customer relationships and strengthen current customer relationships that enable identification with customer’s needs.
- Build a sales network in the defined region following the growth strategy of the ECA division
- Setting and achieving financial targets aligned with the strategic objectives of the Clean Air Technologies Division.
- Oversee and drive the execution of projects in an international environment. This may include, but is not limited to, coordinating basic and detail design activities for global projects or EP/EPS/EPC projects in the defined region.
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a diverse team of professionals, encouraging a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration.
- Full profit and loss responsibility for the region, including revenue growth, margin development, cost control, risk management and cash flow optimization.
Your Profile
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
- Minimum 25 years of progressive experience in leading technology or plant construction business, with specific focus on environmental technology, ideally air quality control systems with about 10 years’ experience in Leading the business unit
- Proven track record in driving business growth, achieving financial targets, and managing budgets effectively.
- Strong knowledge of industrial processes and emission abatement technologies, combined with a deep understanding of global environmental regulations, sustainability trends and decarbonization pathways relevant to industrial customers.
- Deep understanding of the complexities and challenges of selling and executing projects.
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities with experience in developing high-performing, multidisciplinary leadership teams across sales, engineering, project management and operations.
- Customer focused open personality with ownership for performance and shared commitment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis to collaborate with teams, partners and customers.
