Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Supplier Quality Engineer located in the Charlotte Metro area. The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring the quality of suppliers, managing supplier quality processes, and conducting supplier audits. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring supplier performance, developing and implementing Inspection and Test Plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve supplier processes. The role requires a proactive approach to maintaining quality standards and building strong supplier partnerships.

 

 

Qualifications

    • Expertise in Supplier Evaluation and Supplier Quality Management
    • Proficiency in Quality Management and Quality Control processes
    • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Supplier Quality practices
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
    • Familiarity with industry standards related to quality and supplier management
    • Experience in the renewable energy or hydropower industry is a plus
    • NDE - MT, PT, VT, UT
    • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
    • Inspection duties may include up to 65% travel
