The Senior Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) provides strategic and operational human resource (HR) expertise to support across the division/department. This role will provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, support managers in talent management, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement & retention, and address employee concerns. The Senior HRBP will also collaborate on HR initiatives, support recruitment processes, and drive employee engagement and development.
The following responsibilities form the core of this role:
• Proactively builds strong relationships, connections, and understanding with leaders and employees, acting as a partner advisor;
• Address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures;
• Drive the #APerformance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms, and provide guidance to managers as needed;
• Prepare employment offers and/or work contracts for promotions, transfers, and new hires in collaboration with recruitment, department management, and leadership;
• Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization and have the necessary resources to succeed;
• Provide advice and support on talent management, including workforce planning, and performance management;
• Support managers in employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures;
• Collaborate with the HR team to implement HR programs and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys and talent development programs;
• Collaborate with the HR team to identify training needs within the organization to enhance employee skills and competencies;
• Utilize HR metrics and analytics to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement;
• Adhere to and apply HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations;
• Serve as a champion for the #1ANDRITZway culture and values and promote a positive work environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in human resources;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws;
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite;
• Upholding high ethical standards and integrity in all HR practices and decisions;
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed; estimated 5-15%;
• HR certification an asset.
