ANDRITZ Metals USA is seeking a strategic and results-driven National Sales Director – Service Centers & Processors to lead our aftermarket sales activities across North America. This role is responsible for hiring, developing, and managing a team of Regional Sales Managers focused on service centers, toll processors, and metal converters. Working closely with Product Management, this leader will drive growth in spare parts, consumables, maintenance services, and upgrades while developing strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Hire, onboard, train, and mentor a high-performing team of Regional Sales Managers.
- Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
- Set performance goals and implement KPIs to track team and individual results.
- Conduct regular reviews, coaching sessions, and ride-alongs to enhance field effectiveness.
Strategic Sales Growth & Execution
- Develop and execute a national sales strategy focused on aggressive revenue growth.
- Set and track annual sales and margin targets with input from Product Management and senior leadership.
- Identify new customer segments and regional growth opportunities.
- Use CRM tools and data analytics to drive sales performance and market penetration.
- Optimize territory alignment and resource allocation for full market coverage.
Customer Development & Key Account Management
- Lead and manage strategic accounts, including negotiation of long-term agreements.
- Guide the team in developing account-specific strategies to deepen customer engagement.
- Promote service agreements, stocking programs, and proactive support solutions.
- Serve as an executive sponsor for top customers and ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Align ANDRITZ’s value-added services with customer needs to become a preferred partner.
Business Development & Opportunity Expansion
- Drive growth by targeting the installed base and competitive users for parts, retrofits, and upgrades.
- Promote new service offerings and technologies that create operational value for customers.
- Lead strategic outreach initiatives and explore underpenetrated market segments.
- Gather field intelligence to help shape ANDRITZ’s evolving aftermarket product and service portfolio.
Internal Collaboration & Reporting
- Work cross-functionally with Product Management to align sales initiatives with offerings and lifecycle strategies.
- Partner with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns, tradeshow engagement, and lead generation.
- Provide monthly reporting on sales performance, pipeline health, forecasts, and competitive activity.
- Represent customer feedback internally to drive improvements in products, delivery, and service.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA a plus).
- Minimum 10 years of industrial sales experience, including 5+ years leading sales teams.
- Experience working with metals service centers and processors (steel, aluminum, or non-ferrous).
- Proven success selling aftermarket solutions such as spare parts, retrofits, rebuilds, or service contracts.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Experience with key account management and enterprise-level selling.
- Data-driven and CRM-proficient; strong reporting and forecasting abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively (50%+).
