Western United States Travel Territory (California, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming & Alaska)
Candidates must live near an airport in the Western US.
Summary of Job Responsibilities
Position is to cover assigned states and manage representative organizations within respective contractual territories developing sales for the Municipal Wastewater, Water and Industrial Wastewater and Water systems for all ANDRITZ Separation product groups. Primary Product Groups shall be D series decanter centrifuges, SDP products (Screw Press, Belt Press, GBT, PDR) Filter Press and SPEW (AquaScreen P and T Inclined Screens, Rotating Drum Screens, Sand Filter, Underflow Drains and Passive Intake Screens)
1.Travel as required with representative making customer visits, engineering presentations, project development and periodic training of representative.
2. Manage each representative in territory to develop good product awareness such that ANDRITZ has access to all available bidding opportunities.
3. Create and provide Budgetary Quotations, specifications, drawings to engineers direct and through representative to help position Andritz as basis of design on projects
4. Manage projects, knowing status of development from preliminary, design and bid date and update CRM with the dates of closure, win, lose or no sale.
5. Bidding Projects, establishing bidding format requirements upon receipt, (direct bid, bid through contractor, DB or CMAR), determination of bid bond requirement, determination of document requirement to bid, coordination with internal sales to produce required documents, set deadlines for completion and validate delivery on time at destination. This includes terms and conditions that require red lining or pre-negotiation.
6. Upon successful bid, complete all project transfer requirements, submitting required documents to contract manager, assist in contacts, negotiation of terms and booking of order
7. Maintain a 3-month Order Intake (OI) forecast of potential projects
8. Conduct an annual evaluation of representative organization and performance, establish positive and weakness such that action plans can be made to correct weakness or possibly change organization to improve Andritz’s position within the region.
9. Attend regional conferences with regional representatives, National Conferences WEF and WEF National Biosolids Conference. Work with representatives to maximize exposure and connections with owners and engineers at regional and national level.
10. Establish key engineering personnel within territories and defined expertise, determine if engineer is national coordinator or regional coordinator Wastewater, Biosolids, Water, Desalinization, etc.
11. Required to understand competition strengths, weaknesses, market pricing of competitive products.
12. Works with Inside Sales, Project Estimator, Engineering, Contracts Manager, Process Department, Aftermarket Sales and Service and Company Management to provide customer with a complete solution.
13. Responsible to protect company by minimizing risk through process testing of existing sludge applications in laboratory and onsite pilot testing. Regional Manager will participate in onsite testing by utilizing testing as a sales tool to educate representative, engineer and customers.
14. In territories where National Head Quarters, Designated Engineering House for Water or Wastewater exist, Regional Manager maybe assigned as a key account manager for said company to build relations that benefit ANDRITZ on a national level.
15. Regional manager must be adaptive as territories, representative organizations and ANDRITZ product line may change with little notice.
16. On weekly basis Regional Manager shall produce 3-5 CIC reports demonstrating customer interactions copying Sales Manager and Regional Aftermarket Sales Personnel covering that territory.
