ANDRITZ Feed and Biofuel provides pellet mill operators with the products and services that deliver the biggest benefit for their business. We have been providing pelleting customers throughout North and South America with specialized replacement and refurbishment services for over 30 years, utilizing our industry leading "ANBO" brand service parts.

As an Industrial Mechanic with ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel Canada Inc., you will play a vital role in the pellet mill rebuild process. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining pellet mill machinery to ensure its optimal functionality. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Machinery inspection and diagnosis to identify mechanical issues
  • Repair, rebuild, and maintenance of pellet mill equipment
  • Evaluate and measure the disassembled components to provide inspection protocols
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions to determine root cause and implement effective solutions
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain accurate records of machinery inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
  • Keep detailed logs of parts used and report inventory needs to management

 

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade school education preferred.
  • Proven experience as an industrial mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing or mill rebuild environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints
  • Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in industrial maintenance
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
