Purpose and Target:

 

The owner of the function bears the technical responsibility for the design of structural steel and plate works (construction) as well as the execution of steel structure and plate works.

Realisation of steel structure and plate works in cooperation with other special departments (layout engineering, process engineering, purchasing department, QA/QC department, etc.).

Has to ensure the satisfaction of the contractual requirements considering the given overall costs in view of the technology, the dates, and the optimum costs.

Supports creation and maintenance of standard engineering documents for specific tasks.

Supports the sales department on request.

 

Requirements:

 

Bachler or Master for Static Engineering.

Or other relative engineering background.

Experience in the construction of large-scale plants

Experience in dealing with suppliers and a good knowledge of the supplier market

Knowledge of the essential applicable technical rules and regulation

Ability to conduct important negotiations with suppliers

Good knowledge of KAP products

English negotiation skills.

Good at MS office, AUTO CAD is a must.

Experience with one of design tools (e.g. Tekla, PDMS/E3D, STAAD Pro, ANSYS,  Pro Steel and/or BoCad etc.) is a must
