We are currently seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Process Engineer to join ANDRITZ Separation Gmbh, employed through our ANDRITZ Dedert branch in Denmark.
This role involves commissioning new equipment primarily in Denmark and serving as the first point of contact for Danish customers, requiring a significant physical presence on production sites. The place of work includes 70% on customer sites in Denmark, 20% remote support from home office, and 10% work outside of Denmark, mainly at our site in Vierkirchen, Germany. Ideally, the candidate should live within an hour’s driving distance to Kalundborg. Analytical working methods are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing FAT of new equipment in Vierkirchen, Germany
- Performing SAT mainly in Denmark
- Close collaboration with automation department in Germany
- Ensuring that production process and procedures are working flawless
- Troubleshooting and solving productions problems together with customer and Andritz back-office in Germany
- Performing minor mechanical work
Who are we looking for?
Qualification:
- Bachelor or Master of engineering, or Marine engineer (Maskinmester)
- Preferred discipline: Process engineering (or Automation or similar)
Language Skills:
- Fluent in English (mandatory)
- Fluency in Danish is an advantage, but not mandatory
- Knowledge in German language (good to have)
Work Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience from similar role with a preferred background in chemical, biotech, or pharmaceutical production environments
- Required experience and training in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Familiarity with solid-liquid separation equipment is an advantage but not mandatory; training on specific machines will be provided during the initial weeks
- Essential knowledge of Siemens S7, with no programming experience necessary
- Experience with TIA Portal
- Proficiency with common types of sensors and actuators used in chemical production plants
