Job responsibilities and tasks

  • Assist in performing basic vibration data collection and route adherence under the guidance of senior analysts.
  • Identify simple issues such as imbalance or misalignment in rotary equipment.
  • Support the creation of basic vibration reports, escalating complex issues to higher-certified analysts.
  • Assist with routine maintenance activities and contribute to the implementation of preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Maintain and operate vibration monitoring equipment and software (e.g., SKF).
  • Collaborate with the reliability and maintenance teams to ensure equipment uptime and operational efficiency.

Level of Education & Knowledge:

  • ISO CAT I Vibration Analyst Certification.
  • Basic knowledge of vibration monitoring equipment and tools (e.g., SKF software).
  • Ability to perform simple vibration analysis and basic diagnostics.

Experience & Technical Skills:

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in vibration monitoring or mechanical maintenance preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic maintenance processes in the Pulp & Paper or related industries.
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in industrial environments.
  • Good communication skills for reporting findings and escalating issues.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and seek guidance for complex problems.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without the need for visa sponsorship (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).

Physical and Mental Qualifications

  • Physical condition for field inspection in Pulp and Paper Mills
  • Communication: ability to express themselves with correctness, certainty, and objectivity, transmitting security and confidence.
  • Emotional stability: the ability to present a calm and balanced temperament, with self-control of his actions.

Travel percentage (include country or region name)

  • 25% travel in North America
