Overview
Responsibilities
· Provide field service support for ANDRITZ White Liquor Plant (WLP) equipment, including lime kiln diagnostics, alignments, maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting.
· Develop expertise in analysis tools and software used for kiln diagnostics.
· Promote and present ANDRITZ WLP products and services, with emphasis on lime kilns and related equipment.
· Collaborate with customers to identify, justify, and develop upgrade and service projects.
· Collaborate with Service Account Managers to strengthen customer relationships and develop upgrade and service opportunities.
· Identify market needs and support the development of new products and services.
· Manage labor crews for turnkey shutdown services when required and provide advisory field service support when crews are not onsite.
· Communicate and coordinate effectively with customers at all organizational levels.
· Demonstrate strong project management skills, including schedule, budget, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
· Build effective working relationships with global product teams, particularly in Finland.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent), or 3+ years of relevant experience in sales, equipment design, project execution, product management, maintenance, or pulp and paper mill operations.
· Experience with lime kilns or recausticizing systems is a plus.
· Design/drafting experience (e.g., AutoCAD) is a plus.
· Strong project management skills (schedule, budget, quality, customer satisfaction).
· Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
· Strong initiative, self‑management, and goal‑orientation, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Ability to identify market needs and support the development of products and services that address those needs.
· Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and drive urgency when required.
· Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills.
· Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams; AutoCAD familiarity is a plus.
· Ability and willingness to travel (25–50% within the U.S. and Canada).
Physical and Mental Qualifications
Position performed in an office and/or remote home office environment. Frequent visits to paper mills and manufacturing facilities are required. Environment: Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, remote controlled devices using radio signals. Physical conditions for position: Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, ascend/descend stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs. Must have visual acuity, excellent mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to endure long hours, and wear required personal protective equipment. All tasks performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
