ANDRITZ PULP AND PAPER is a globally leading supplier of plants, equipment, and services for the pulp and paper industry. Automation and Digitalization is a strategic, fast-growing business area within ANDRITZ. Our Digitalization Solutions are designed to provide sustained performance improvement to our customers in the pulp and paper industry including Advanced Process Controls, Operator Training Simulators, Asset Performance Management, Digital Twins and Artificial Intelligence industrial applications.

About the Role

Our Automation & Digitalization division is seeking a Digitalization Product Sales Manager to support strategic growth across the U.S. and Canada region. In this role, you will engage directly with pulp and paper customers to identify operational improvement opportunities, provide technical sales leadership, and drive adoption of ANDRITZ Digitalization solutions that improve mill reliability, productivity, and profitability.


You will serve as a technical advisor, collaborator, and solution orchestrator, partnering closely with ANDRITZ Service Account Managers and cross‑functional engineering teams to shape proposals that create measurable customer value.



What You Will Do



Technical Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Provide technical guidance during sales cases, qualifying opportunities, defining optimal solutions, calculating ROI, and ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Conduct customer visits focused on scope discovery, evaluations, audits, problem‑solving, and product value discussions.
  • Develop sales tools and presentations to support identifying new customers and expanding opportunity pipelines.
  • Represent the ANDRITZ Digitalization products at industry events and conferences

Proposal & Solution Development

  • Contribute to proposal development with technical insights ensuring alignment with product vision and customer requirements.
  • Develop proposals, scopes, and pricing models tailored to North American market expectations.
  • Manage the sales portfolio, including regular reporting of sales activities and problem resolutions

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work with global and regional sales, business development, engineering, and product teams to jointly develop and secure opportunities.
  • Promote knowledge sharing between product groups and field organizations to ensure unified messaging and solution consistency.



What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial automation and/or technical sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of pulp and/or paper mill processes and the ability to translate mill challenges into actionable technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated capability in performing on‑site customer evaluations, audits, and technical discussions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self‑managed, resourceful, collaborative, and goal‑driven.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability and willingness to travel in the U.S. and Canada 50%.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal sales training or previous technical sales experience.
  • Advanced Process Control and Operator Training Simulators experience
