ANDRITZ Recovery & Power Services is seeking a self-motivated, entry level process engineer to provide process engineering support for the Recovery, Power, and White Liquor Plant Product Groups within PKR NA.

Education and Experience

To be successful, a candidate should possess:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Pulp & Paper Technology
• Well-developed interpersonal skills.  The ability to communicate effectively on various levels, verbally and in writing is essential
• Must be able to work independently and within a group
• Some travel is required for this position, approximately 10 to 30%
• Pulp and paper industry experience is a plus
• Excellent capability with Microsoft Office
• Strong command of the English language in both written and verbal communication

Principal Duties

Major responsibilities are listed but not necessarily limited to the following duties:

• Heat and material balance calculations
• Process calculations
• Process equipment sizing
• Customer visits & audits focused on problem resolution and product sales including documentation and follow up
• Process engineering support for checkout, start-up, troubleshooting, process optimization, & performance testing
