ANDRITZ Digital and Smart Solutions are designed to provide sustained performance improvement to our customers in pulp and paper industry.
ANDRITZ (PAD) is seeking a self-motivated, experienced individual to act as a key contributor in sales of our NAF portfolio of Valves and valve accessories, to the pulp, paper, and other industries. The North American Multi-Channel Sales Manager for NAF Valves is tasked with crafting and executing a sales strategy across several sales streams, with the target to exceed the stated sales targets in each calendar year. The successful candidate will engage with distributors, ANDRITZ sales teams, and directly with customers, operating at all levels within the customers organization from the maintenance shop to the corporate head office.
This is an exempt position with annual bonus potential.
Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute a comprehensive channel and direct coverage strategy to maximize outside sales opportunities.
- Cultivate and grow the distributor network in the US and Canada, starting with a focused regional strategy and expanding to cover the continent. This includes solicitation of new distributors, negotiation of contracts, and on-boarding.
- Provide day-to-day technical and sales support to distributors and ANDRITZ sales including sales calls to customers, attending industry events, hosting reference calls and visits, and providing technical information, pricing, and delivery information.
- Working with key sales contacts in ANDRITZ, visit mill and corporate customers to ensure that NAF valves are technically accepted, and where possible negotiate frame agreements for valves with large corporations
- Take the lead in pricing, delivery, sales channel, and strategy decisions for the North American market
- Implement a strategy to grow the service capabilities within North America to enable full realization of MRO sales in the long term, including on-boarding of in-house valve service capabilities
- Participate in global strategy discussions
Attributes of the successful candidate:
- Process and industry understanding: You should have a strong understand of the pulp and paper manufacturing processes and be familiar with the buying habits in North American mills.
- Strong communications skills: candidate must be able to communicate with ease with internal and external stakeholders and articulate the benefits of the ANDRITZ-NAF solution in a variety of situations.
- Knowledge of the customer base: the candidate should understand the key roles in the customer organization and be able to identify key decision makers. The ability to be able to communicate with stakeholder at all levels is important.
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills. The ability to communicate effectively on various levels, verbally and in writing is essential.
- Must be able to work independently and within a group.
- Moderate travel is required for this position.
- Understanding of customer processes.
- Automation and digital technologies knowledge.
- Language skills: English.
