Our Clean Air Technologies Division is seeking a Document Control Coordinator to support the team out of our Alpharetta, GA office. This position will be responsible to provide document control and expediting support to the project teams in Andritz Capital and Retrofit/Service business units to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to streamline and standardize project delivery from an administrative perspective.
  • Processing a variety of document types and records through all procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines.
  • Updating and maintaining electronic file repositories and databases
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, project documentation, and deliverables, as needed
  • Copying, scanning, compiling, and assembling documents, drawings, and othe project documentation
  • Retrieving and distributing project materials such as drawings, reports, and other project information as requested
  • Attend project meetings when required.
  • Follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • File and document control of engineering documents. This includes tracking incoming and outgoing information.
  • Maintain accurate and current project logs and lists
  • Assist the procurement team with expediting of documents to/from customers and vendors.
  • Assist with project control processes.
  • Assist with project closeout and archiving.
  • Participate in post project reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Perform other general administrative tasks and support to the team as required.
  • Ensuring the application of all defined Andritz procedures and standards in execution of work.

 

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:

  • Commercial or business administration degree or equivalent experience, with practical experience in a B2B industry of at least 3-5 years
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • 3+ years of document and records management experience
  • Possess a working knowledge of document control work processes and procedures. General understanding and familiarity of document and record keeping principles
  • Competent in use of desktop computer and peripherals (Windows)
  • Competent in Microsoft Office products (primarily Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Can work as part of a team with a positive attitude and ability to work under supervision. Ability to interact effectively with project management and staff.
  • Safely lift generally 25 lbs. to assist with organizing documents typically in the form of large size drawings, binders, books, or other materials. Proper PPE will be provided.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision across multiple projects concurrently.
