We are seeking a forward-thinking Asset Health Analyst with strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a strategic mindset to support our reliability and asset performance initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals with solid experience in predictive maintenance, especially in vibration analysis (CAT II/III), who are ready to take on a proactive, data-driven role.
The successful candidate will work with online condition monitoring systems and process data, using advanced diagnostic tools to identify equipment anomalies, predict failures, and deliver technically sound, data-backed recommendations.
Strong communication skills are essential, as the analyst will translate complex diagnostics into clear, actionable insights, facilitating alignment with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams.
This position plays a key role in enhancing asset reliability, plant availability, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced Pulp & Paper environment.
Level of Education & Knowledge:
- Certification in Vibration Analysis – ISO Category II (required).
- Certification in Vibration Analysis – ISO Category III is a plus
- Additional certifications in predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., ultrasound, thermography) are a plus.
- Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (preferred).
Proficiency with SKF software platforms and vibration data collectors.
Experience & Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of practical experience in vibration analysis, including diagnostics of complex rotating machinery in industrial settings.
- Hands-on experience in the Pulp & Paper industry, with familiarity in applying predictive techniques to sector-specific equipment.
- Background in maintenance or reliability functions within heavy industry, contributing to asset performance and uptime.
- Skilled in rotor balancing and applying mechanical corrections in the field.
- Working knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance, including equipment tracking and inspection planning.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documentation, such as OEM manuals, engineering drawings, and failure reports.
- Capable of producing data-driven vibration reports supported by trend analysis and historical comparisons.
- Experience with preventive maintenance execution, aligned with reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
- Adept with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint for technical presentations.
- Committed to industrial safety practices, with experience in safety-critical environments.
- Solid understanding of mechanical behavior of rotating assets and related failure mechanisms.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without the need for visa sponsorship (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
