About the job

ANDRITZ is looking for a Technical Sales Support engineer for its Pumps Division (EPU), based in Madrid. Your focus will be to facilitating sales by establishing a strong relationship with colleagues in Sales, Product Management, Quality and Engineering. You will have a strong personal drive to provide accurate proposals in time and quality that meet customer needs and expectations. You should be able to effectively interact with other functions and customers to ensure targets are achieved. Good cooperation skills, open mind, and positive attitude are a must.

The job will be based in Madrid, Spain.

 

Your job responsibilities and tasks are to:

 

  • Strong understanding of technical specifications of pumps and related equipment
  • Proactive, Creative, out-of-the-box thinking
  • Intercultural understanding and customer orientation
  • Experience with hydraulic selection tools is an advantage
  • Experience using CRM tools, proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Experience with order execution of technical projects and SAP is valuable

 

We are looking for candidate with the following experience & expertise:

 

  • A degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline is required. Previous experience in the field of centrifugal pumps, other rotating equipment or flow control machinery is desired.
  • Background in machinery and mechanical systems; additional knowledge in electrical and automation is a plus.
  • Data-driven, fact-based decision making
  • Ability to work efficiently across digital platforms.
  • Capability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and navigate in a multicultural environment
  • Systematic, independent and energetic working approach, eager to do more
  • Strong customer orientation with a solution-focused mindset
  • Language skills:
  • English fluency (must-have)
  • Spanish (must-have)
  • French or other languages (advantage)
  • Availability to travel up to 20% of time
